Febby Sagita is currently the Managing Partner of SRSP. Previously he worked at Oentoeng Suria & Partners (affiliated with Blake Dawson).

Febby Sagita is a member of the firm’s admiralty and shipping practice group. He has advised on and handled a wide spectrum of both shipping and non-shipping related matters.

He is very well known by the shipping industry and also by the financial institutions of his involvement in major shipping projects in Indonesia. His strong relationship with the Ministry of Transporation authority made him become informal advisor to the Directorate of Shipping and Maritime for his opinion in the implementation of the cabotage principle in Indonesia.

He presently specialises in non-contentious trade and shipping-related issues, including trade financing, bills of lading and charter-parties issues, sale & purchase and financing of ships, contracts for shipbuilding and financing of new buildings, logistics contracts, port and terminal services contracts, bunkering contracts, marine insurances, contracts for sale & purchase of goods and services, as well as other general corporate matters.

Febby Sagita started practice as an admiralty and shipping lawyer in 2004. He regularly acts for a wide range of financiers active in the shipping industry, on bilateral as well as syndicated loan transactions. His clients include local banks as well as international banks active in ship finance and major shipping companies in Indonesia. He also routinely acts for shipowners in vessels acquisition.

Prior to the establishment of SRSP, Triano Ridjab assisted his family businesses in medical equipment industry.

He has advised on and handled a wide spectrum of both corporate and industrial relations matters.

Triano Ridjab started practice as a lawyer in 2003. He was a graduate from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia. Later he completed Master of Laws (LL.M) Program, from the Faculty of Law, the National University of Singapore, Singapore.

Murizah T. Z. Abidin

Murizah is a senior foreign legal consultant in SRSP. She advises on major projects with a practice specialising in Foreign Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Finance, Finance, Telecommunication, Corporate and Commercial.

For the last few years, she has represented many local and multinational clients on complex transactions.

Prior to coming to Indonesia, she was a legal counsel for a multinational telecommunication company in Malaysia and assisted in their investment in Indonesia.

Murizah Abidin graduated from University of Wales, Cardiff. Later, she was awarded Master of Laws (LLM) (Specialization in Maritime Law) by University of London.

Yoopie specializes in capital markets and financial services works. He has handled all kinds of Indonesian capital markets transactions and corporate actions such as initial public offering of stocks and bonds, acquisition and mergers of public companies, rights issue and delisting/go private exercise by listed companies in various industries (e.g. finance companies, manufacturing companies, oil and gas services companies, securities companies, information technology companies and telecommunication companies).

He has also acted as lead Indonesian counsel in respect of listing and public offering of shares at Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Singapore Stock Exchange, Australia Stock Exchange and New York Stock Echange of various overseas companies holding interest in indonesian assets.

Yoopie also advised on the application and/or the impact of relevant capital market regulations to corporate matters and operational matters and business transactions of many Indonesian listed companies.

His clients in capital markets and financial services sector also include domestic and multinational securities companies, investment banks and invesment managers, to whom Yoopie provide advice on regulatory and transactional matters, e.g acting as lead counsel in the establishment of Indonesian securities brokerage arm of a major U.S securities company, advising the Singapore and Hong Kong office of another major U.S securities company on the compliance aspect of its marketing and promotional activities in Indonesia, acting as lead counsel on the establishment of Indonesian investment banking arm of a major Indian securities company and advising Indonesian investment managers on the establishment of mutual funds, dissolution of mutual funds and amendment to mutual funds contracts.

In addition to his capital markets and financial services experience, Yoopie has also acting as lead Indonesian counsel in acquisition of companies and/or assets in various sectors such as energy and resources, manufacturing, trading, services, logistics, oil and gas, securities brokerage, toll road and investment managers.

He has advised major state owned companies in chemical manufacturing sector on development of plants and factories (in particular advising of tender process and the negotiation with contractor on the EPC contracts). He is also part of the team advising major state owned companies in telecommunication, infrastructure and logistics sectors on procurement of assets and services, and corporate and operational matters.

In energy and resources sector, Yoopie has acted as lead counsel in energy and resources project finance transactions, establishment of mining operations of various multinational companies (in particular major Australian listed mining companies), and regulatory matters related to mining operations in Indonesia.

Yoopie has also been acknowledged for his expertise in advising clients on the implementation of Indonesian corporate laws and practices to their business operations.

Yoopie is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of University of Indonesia. From 2010 to 2015, he also co-authors the Indonesia Section of Thomson Reuters’ International Securities Regulation – Pacific Rim with Toby Grainger and Dr. Gordon R. Walker (Professor of Commercial Law, La Trobe University School of Law, Melbourne, Australia).
